Zooming into the galaxy SDSS1335+0728 and its newly awakened black hole
This video zooms into the galaxy SDSS1335+0728, which in late 2019 suddenly started shining brighter than ever before and was classified as having an active galactic nucleus. This is the first time the awakening of a massive black hole has been observed in real time.
The various images shown here were taken with different telescopes at different times, and have been blended together to create this zoom.

The ELT webcams haven't been updated for a month, is there a reason ? I liked to follow the progress of the site.
Hi! Due to a recent cyber incident we had to shut down our network to deploy security measures. Our IT team has brought back many of our services, but the webcams still remain offline. They are operated by an external company, and we’re working with them to find a solution so that their system is compliant with our requirements. We’re very happy to see so much interest in the construction of the ELT, and we’re working to bring the webcams back as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience!
The sun will expand into a red giant as it does so it will lose some mass and therefore it is not known if the Earth will drift outward or the sun will engulf it. Mercury and Venus however are doomed there's no doubt about it. However the Earth will become unlivable much sooner than 5 billion in about every billionaire's the sun gets 1.1 times the diameter and 10% brighter.So possibly after a billion years and definitely after 2 billion all life will be extinguished. Because the oceans will start to because the oceans will start to boil away. It is estimated in 1 billion years the sons will bake the Earth to 140°. In 2 billion it will rise to 160°. At 140 evaporation will definitely speed up by 2 billion years all water on the surface will be gone. In 5 billion years when the Sun starts to turn into a red giant it will become cooler on its surface but because it is much bigger and therefore much closer to the earth the earth will be definitely unlivable. If life survives after 1:00 or even 2 billion years then in 5 billion years all life will be extinguished. We will probably have long ago by then found a new home but it will not be Earth. In thousands of years there probably going to be traveling the Galaxy looking for new homes. All Stars die the ones with the slowest lives are the red dwarfs which can go on for 100 trillion years or more. Compared to the sun's 12 billion years. Orange dwarfs last for anywhere from 15 to 25 billion years depending on their size. So if humans survive all homes will be temporary but red dwarfs will go on practically forever.

Imagine you are in this galaxy, looking towards earth. Would you notice the milky way first, or any evidence of life on one of hundreds of billions of planets in the galaxy, where at that distance most stars wouldn't be visible?

The video description says it's been taken with a few different telescopes at (I world guess) different zooms, then put together digitally but I don't know which telescopes were used

People still believe black hole pseudoscience? What a world...
How do you know this is a black hole? What is the conclusive evidence?
The brightening is localised in the galaxy's nucleus, and it keeps getting brighter after four years. This and the way the luminosity changes at different colours or wavelengths points towards a recently activated black hole. Another option could be a tidal disruption event: a star that gets shredded as it gets close to the black hole. But we know from previous observations of these events that they are much brighter and shorter. If this was a tidal disruption event it would a very exotic one. A supernova explosion close to the galaxy's nucleus is also not consistent with all the observed evidence. You can find more information here: www.eso.org/public/news/eso2409/

The host galaxy is located 300 million light-years away, still in what we call the local universe but very far in human terms. This is not related to the fact that the black hole seems to have become active, though.

Where is the black hole?
When look up and see the stars, It reminds me the light of the past. It also reminds me not worry the future, since we are still travelling though the Past, Because I am still enjoying past and present, It also tell me to break all the rules; all the barriers and worries And just to be free man, a free species !

The earth will probably be fine and if anything actually gain a bunch of mass from this. The sun at this point will not be that hot meaning the earth wont be melted away, and its density will be so god awfully low that the earth would probably just absorb the outer shell engulfing it.
